RENTAL TERMS AND AGREEMENT
1. Vehicles is rented for use on New Providence and Paradise Island only. Vehicles must not be taken to any other Island, if this is done the customer will be responsible for total cost of vehicle if damage and all recovery cost.
2. Vehicle rental charges is based on a day usage. Vehicles returned after it is due in is late. Renter will be charged the daily rate for any time thereafter. An extra day’s charge is also applied for any optional item (CDW, additional driver, car seats, plus taxes).
3. Vehicles returned early and rented on promo rate will be assessed at the daily rate.
4. Vehicles is rented for personal use only, Commercial use is prohibited.
5. A Security Deposit is required for all. Security Deposit is not for rental time.
6. The Renter is responsible for inspecting the vehicle before departure and reporting any defect /damages immediately to Divine Automobile Rental Services prior to removal from the premises. A vehicle may not be driven while a defect exists which would render it unsafe for driving.
7. Divine Automobile Rental Services rents to drivers 25 years or older. Only the driver listed on this completed form as “Renter” and “Additional Driver” may drive the vehicle.
8. Upon renting the renter is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is maintain appropriately, including tire pressure, oil, radiator and unleaded fuel. Renter may be responsible for flat tire repair or replacement cost.
9. No Smoking or Pets are allowed in the vehicle. Minimum charge is $50.00 for cleaning the cars interior for smoke scent, pet hair, excessive stains, dirt, or soilage attributable to your use.
10. Vehicles should be returned with fuel at full tank or a charge of eight dollars and fifty cents ($8.50) per gallon will be applied to vehicles returned less than full, Refueling must be with Unleaded Gas only.
11. Renter is responsible for the payment of all traffic and parking fines. No speeding.
12. Where the vehicle has been involved in an accident the “Renter” the renter must promptly report the accident to the local Police, and then to Divine Automobile Rental Services. The name and address of the other driver, registration and insurance of the other vehicle and any other pertinent information should be obtained. Where possible and appropriate the details of any witnesses should also be noted.
13. The Renter shall not arrange or undertake any repairs to the rental vehicle.
14. When you give us your credit or debit card details you agree to allow us to charge or debit your card for all charges that you incur. In case of debit or credit refusal by your bank {either for advanced authorization or incurred charges) you are fully responsible for the charges and bank fees.
15. In the event that the “Renter” lose the tire jack, tire wrench, keys or smart card or if the tire jack, tire wrench, key or smart card is stolen, you will be charged a replacement fee. An onsite visit fee of $30.00 will be charged for keys locked in vehicle.
16. VEHICLES ISSUES CALL 429-6623. The vehicles will be called in for repair. A replacement vehicle will be provided until the repairs are completed.
NOTICE: Third Party Insurance (TPI) covers your liability for repairs or replacement of another vehicle should you be involved in an accident, deemed at fault by the Police, and have complied with the Terms of your Rental Agreement. You are not responsible for repair costs or replacement of the rental vehicle if you are not at fault for the accident. In the event of an accident in which you are at fault, you are responsible for the total repair costs or replacement costs of the rental vehicle if deemed a write-off. You are responsible for repair or replacement costs of the rental vehicle damaged by vandalism or theft. Divine Automobile Rental Services assumes no liability for personal injury or death of the Renter or Passenger in the rental vehicle or for loss or theft of personal belongings.
I/We have read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions included with this Rental Agreement, I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief that all of the information provided by me in support of this rental agreement is correct. I consent to verification of the information given in support of this Rental Agreement.
